Your hosts share valuable product details in every video: how a product feels, what it is made of, how to use it, and answers to real shopper questions. Product Knowledge picks up these details automatically, turns them into clear product facts and connects them to the right product. You can then review the facts, see which ones are missing from your product pages, and use them on your website, in your PIM or in your AI tools.
Product Knowledge is an add-on module to Social Commerce. In the BamHub it is called Product Intelligence.
Key concepts
- Product fact: One piece of information about a product taken from your videos, for example "Made with shea butter and vitamin E".
- Category: The type of fact, for example Active Ingredients, Claimed Benefits, Texture and Finish or Cosmetic Type. Categories make facts easy to scan and filter.
- Missing from PDP: A fact your videos mention that is not on the product's page on your website.
- Videos analyzed: The videos a product appears in that have been processed for facts.
Which videos are used
Product Knowledge uses your live shows, uploaded training videos and ghost lives. You do not need to change how you host or plan your shows. The more a product is shown and talked about, the more facts you get.
Add products
- In the BamHub, go to Products and select Intelligence.
- Click + Product to Intelligence.
- The panel lists products that appear in at least one of your videos and have not been added yet, with the number of videos each appears in. Use the search field to find a specific product.
- Select the products you want and click Save. The bottom of the panel shows how many you have selected and how much of your allowance is left.
The facts appear once the videos have been analyzed. Every BamHub includes 3 free products to try: 1 is processed automatically, and you can choose 2 more yourself.
Understand the Product Intelligence page
- Overview: The total number of product facts, how many are missing from your product pages, and how many videos have been analyzed.
- Connect: Connect your AI agent through our API or MCP server. See Technical documentation below.
- Product list: Every product you have added, with the videos it appears in ①, the number of facts, the facts missing from the product page ② and the date it was added. Click a column header to sort, for example by Missing from PDP to see which products have the biggest gaps.
Review a product
Click a product to open it, then select the Intelligence tab. The first image in this article shows the top of this tab.
- What your videos communicate: A short summary of everything your videos say about the product, with the number of facts, categories and facts missing from the product page ①.
- Videos analyzed ②: The videos the facts come from. Click a video to open Video mentions, where you can watch the video next to a list of every mention of the product. Each mention shows the timestamp, the category, the fact and the exact quote from the host, so you can check where a fact comes from. Use the search field to find a specific mention.
- Product facts: Every fact, with its category, how many videos mention it and whether it is missing from the product page ④. Click a column header to sort ③, or click a fact to expand it. Use search and Filter ⑤ to narrow the list.
Good to know: When a host makes a claim, such as how long a product lasts, the fact is written as "The presenter says…". Review these with your team before you publish them, as you would with any product claim.
Put the knowledge to work
- Improve your product pages: Sort or filter by Missing from PDP and start with facts mentioned in several videos. These are details your experts repeat and shoppers care about. Clear, specific product pages also make it easier for AI search engines to understand and recommend your products.
- Share with your team: Click Share link at the top of a product page to give others, such as e-commerce or content teams, access to the insights. No BamHub login is needed.
- Export to CSV: Click Export CSV to download all facts for a product, for example to import into your PIM or hand to a copywriter.
- Use it in your AI tools: Click Connect on the Product Intelligence page to connect your AI agent through our API or MCP server, so you can use the insights in the tools you already use.
Bambuser does not change your website. You decide which facts to use and where.
Permissions
Users need the Manage Product Intelligence permission. Owners in Live have it by default.

Frequently asked questions
Why can't I find a product in the Add products panel?
The panel only lists products that appear in at least one of your videos and have not been added yet. If the product has not been in a video, show it in your next live show or upload a video where it appears.
Does Bambuser add the information to my website?
No. You decide what to use and add it to your product pages or systems yourself.
Which videos are supported?
Live shows, uploaded training videos and ghost lives. Support for Shoppable Video and user-generated content is planned.
How do I get Product Knowledge?

Does it work with AI Visibility?
Yes. Each product page has an AI Visibility tab next to Intelligence, so you can see both for the same product. The modules can also be used separately. Read more in AI Visibility.
