Engage your audience by sharing content they already trust—User Generated Content (UGC) from Instagram. With this feature, you can effortlessly import UGC, whether from your own account or from other users showcasing your products, and embed it anywhere on your website. This lets you display authentic, engaging videos directly from Instagram, helping to build credibility and connection with your audience.
How to get started
- Access the Shoppable Video product in your Bambuser Bam Hub.
- Ensure you're logged into Instagram by going to Settings and selecting Integrations.
- Once logged in, navigate to the Videos section and click Import, then choose Instagram.
- You can either:
- Import your own Instagram videos under the Your Account tab, where all your videos will be automatically displayed. Simply choose the desired video and click Import to add it to your library.
- Import videos from other users by searching hashtags under the Search Hashtags tab. After finding the video you want, click on it to import. Please note that you are responsible for obtaining permission from the content owner before using their video.
- Once imported, your videos will appear in your library and can be easily added to your website just like any other shoppable video. For guidance on embedding videos, refer to the Shoppable Video article.

Instagram Limitations to Keep in Mind:
- Hashtag Search Limits: Instagram allows up to 30 unique hashtag searches within a seven-day period. You can search any specific hashtag (like your brand’s) as often as needed, but only up to 30 unique hashtags. To help track this, a countdown is available in the product.
-
Recent Content Only: Instagram currently limits hashtag searches to video content uploaded within the past 24 hours.
In upcoming iterations, we aim to extend these limitations to allow access to a broader range of content.
