Campaign GIFs allow you to extend the reach of your shoppable videos beyond your web store. By converting existing content into highly optimized, lightweight preview loops with embedded product data, you can engage shoppers directly in their favorite channels, such as Email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
Follow this step-by-step guide to create and export your first Campaign GIF inside the BamHub dashboard.
Step 1: Access the Campaign GIFs Studio
Open your BamHub Dashboard and navigate to the left-hand sidebar menu.
Under the Library dropdown, click on Campaign GIFs.
In the top-right corner of the Campaign GIFs management screen, click the + CREATE NEW button to start a new project.
Step 2: Select and Crop Your Video
On the "Select video" screen, click the + SELECT VIDEO button.
A window will display your available shoppable video library. Click Select on the video asset you want to use.
Once the video loads into the previewer, a timeline controller will appear below it.
Drag the highlight window slider (or click anywhere on the timeline) to select the perfect 3-second clip to serve as your looping preview.
Click NEXT in the bottom right corner when you are satisfied with the selected loop.
Step 3: Add and Burn-In Your Product Card
The Add a product screen will populate a list of products attached to that video.
Select the product you want to feature. A styled Product Card Overlay displaying the item's name, brand, and price will immediately preview on top of your video loop.
(Optional) If you want to change your selection or add a product manually, click the + ADD PRODUCT option to pull up your full inventory search bar.
Review the product details burned onto the bottom of the video frame, then click NEXT.
Step 4: Choose Your Destination Link
Control the exact shopping journey your users will take when they click your GIF inside an outreach message:
Option 1 (Drive Engagement): Select your primary store page to route shoppers to an immersive, full-screen Video Playlist experience on your site.
Option 2 (Drive Conversion): Select a specific campaign URL or Product Detail Page (PDP). When clicked, this link will automatically inject the product into the shopper's cart and auto-play the video player on landing.
Choose your preferred destination and click NEXT to let the system generate your media files.
Step 5: Export and Share Your Campaign GIF
Once processing is complete, the dashboard will display your finalized asset dimensions, file size, and dynamic sharing options:
✉️ For Email Campaigns (HTML Embed)
Click COPY under the HTML embed code block. Drop this raw code snippet directly into any email editor or Email Service Provider template (such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or custom HTML blocks).
📱 For SMS & Chat Apps (Short URL)
Click COPY under the Short URL block. This lightweight link is perfect for direct outbound texting tools, WhatsApp blasts, or social media DMs.
💾 Local Download
Click 📥 DOWNLOAD GIF to save the raw image file to your computer for alternative marketing use cases.
When you are finished copying your assets, click DONE to be directed back to your dashboard inventory cockpit, where you can monitor click tracking and view analytics!
