What Is the Product Catalog?
The Product Catalog is your centralized list of products inside Bambuser.
It’s powered by your Product Feed, meaning all the products you choose to include in your feed will automatically appear in your BamHub and mobile apps.
With the Product Catalog, you can:
- Browse and search your entire product range in Bambuser.
- Add products to your Live shows, Shoppable Videos, Video Consultations and Chat with a single click.
- Access detailed product data, including price, stock status, and variants
Why the Product Catalog Is Important
The Product Catalog replaces the need to manually copy and paste product URLs when setting up a show or video or integrating with product hydration for video consultation.
By connecting your feed, you gain:
- Faster setup - select products directly from your synced catalog.
- Richer data - access product details like name, description, price, image, and variant information.
How to Access the Product Catalog
Once your Product Feed is connected, the Product Catalog will automatically populate in your BamHub.
You can access it in two ways:
- From the BamHub main menu – see the “Products” tab for your full catalog.
- Within a specific product (Live, Shoppable Video, or Video Consultation). When creating a show, you can search and add products directly from your catalog.
Each product is grouped by variants, such as size or color. You can search by product name, SKU, or variant.
Adding Products to a Show or Video
When setting up a show or video:
- Click Add Product.
- Search for the product in your catalog.
- Select a variant of the product to include in your show or video
Save your changes — your show now includes shoppable products with full data from your feed.
You can still manually add product URLs if needed, but these will appear as separate items marked as manually added.
Who Can Use It
The Product Catalog is available for all Bambuser customers using:
- Live
- Shoppable Video
- Video Consultation
- Chat (already has its own version of the Product Catalog and will migrate to the same system later on.
