Product Feed

Discover how to optimize your product feed for maximum visibility and sales on e-commerce platforms.

What Is the Product Feed?

The Product Feed allows you to connect your store’s product catalog to Bambuser, making your product data accessible directly in BamHub.

This guide will help you set up your product feed for Live, Shoppable Video, and Video Consultation.

Why the Product Feed Is Important

Connecting your product feed enables your live shows and videos to display real-time product information such as name, image, price, and availability.

This lets viewers and shoppers interact with products, add them to their cart, and complete a purchase — all within the Bambuser interface.

Once connected, Bambuser automatically syncs your product data and makes it available across all three products: Live, Shoppable Video, and Video Consultation.

How to Connect Your Product Feed

  1. Go to Settings → Integration → Product Feed → +NEW in your BamHub.
  2. Choose one of the following connection methods:
    1. Public Feed URL (XML, CSV, or JSON):
    2. Use a publicly accessible URL. Common sources include Google Merchant Center or other catalog exports.
  3. SFTP Upload: Upload your feed directly to Bambuser’s secure SFTP server if your catalog isn’t hosted publicly.
  4. Configure your update frequency. You can choose how often Bambuser syncs your feed — from every 6 hours up to once every 24 hours.
  5. Check your field mapping. Review the mapping between your product fields (e.g. title, price, image) and Bambuser’s standard schema. In the final step, you’ll see a preview of your products. If all information looks correct, your mapping is set up properly.

How the Product Feed Is Shared Across Products

Your Product Feed is shared across Live, Shoppable Video, and Video Consultation — meaning you only need to connect it once per BamHub.

If you’re a Client Owner, you can also upload the same product feed to multiple BamHubs at once.
