What does the Bambuser Starter free trial include?

With the Bambuser Starter free trial, you'll have access to our live video shopping solution, including dashboard, player, hosting app, and much more. And if you have any questions, you can email our support team at any time.

How do I sign up for a free trial?

  1. Fill out the form (including credit card information) to start the trial. 
  2. We will then email you a Magic Link to log in to the Bambuser dashboard. You will have access to a trial version of Bambuser One-to-Many Starter for seven days. 

After seven days, if you don't cancel the trial or update your billing preferences before then, we will then start billing you monthly for Bambuser One-to-Many Starter. We will not bill your credit card until the end of the 7-day free trial and will not bill you at all if you cancel the trial within seven days. 

What can I do during my free trial? 

When you sign up for the free trial, we'll grant you free access to our Starter plan. With the Starter plan, you can: 

  • set up unlimited live shows
  • list as many products as you want
  • sell your products through live shopping 


You can also download the raw footage and chat logs from your live shows, see broadcast reports, and analyze engagement and sales metrics right in the dashboard.  


Does the Bambuser free trial require a credit card? 

Yes, a valid credit card is required to start the 7-day free trial. 


Can I cancel the free trial after it starts? 

Yes, you can cancel at any time during your free trial and still have access to the rest of the trial period.


Can I upgrade during the free trial? 

You can change from the free trial of Starter to the paid version of Starter in the Billing section of the Bambuser dashboard. If you wish to purchase a different version of Bambuser One-to-Many (Lite, Standard, or Enterprise), please contact our Sales team. You can learn more about the differences between each plan on our pricing page. 


How do I cancel my free trial? 

You can cancel renewal at any point during your free trial by contacting us at support@bambuser.com to avoid being charged. You'll enjoy access to the solution for the rest of the 7-day free trial. The cancellation of your free trial should be made at least 24 hours before the end of the trial date to ensure you are not charged. 


If I decide I don't want to buy Starter, when should I cancel my free trial to ensure I don't get charged?

You should cancel the trial at least 24 hours before the end of the trial to avoid being charged. You can confirm your end of trial date in the Billing section of the Bambuser dashboard.


Can I sign up for an annual plan and still get a free trial? 

Yes! For a Starter annual plan, please start by signing up for the free 7-day trial. You can then update your subscription to the yearly billing cycle. For a yearly subscription, update your subscription towards the end of your free trial period before it rolls to billing. 


Why do you need my credit card info before giving me a free trial? 

The signup process requires a valid credit card. This allows your Bambuser membership to roll into a paid subscription should you decide to keep your account open, helping you avoid any historical data gaps in your reporting.

Collecting credit card information also allows us to reduce fraud and maintain our free trial limit of one per customer.

We will not charge your credit card during your free trial period. Sometimes your card will be authorized, which may require an authorization charge of up to $1 — which is then instantly voided. After your 7-day trial, if you haven't canceled your subscription, you will be charged each month. If you decide that Bambuser isn't for you, you can cancel anytime during and after your trial. Cancelation will stop future subscription renewals.


How will I know when the trial is over? 

Before the end of your trial, we will send you a few different emails to remind you of the time remaining. You will receive email notifications when you have two days and one day remaining on your free trial.

You'll also receive an email notification when your free trial ends, reminding you that the credit card on file will automatically be charged, so there's no interruption in service unless your free trial has been canceled.

If your subscription is not canceled before the end of the free trial and you are charged for the subscription renewal, you will receive an additional email confirming that payment has been processed.


To ensure receipt of these emails, please be sure the email on file for your account is one at which you can receive emails and that your email server is not blocking emails from support@bambuser.com or billing@bambuser.com.


Please note: All free trials are set to automatically renew as a paid subscription at the end of the trial. If you do not wish to continue your trial and do not want to be charged for a paid Bambuser Starter subscription, you will need to cancel the subscription through the Bambuser dashboard at least 24 hours before the end of the trial.
